Frequency inverters are ideal for use in the energy efficient control of all types of motors. ZIEHL-ABEGG supplies frequency inverters that are perfectly matched to our customers'' applications. The main focus is on ventilation systems, with a special emphasis on ease of handling and operation.

Fcontrol
Product specification:
Frequency inverters with integrated, all-pole sine filter and sinusoidal output voltage. Allows for operation without shielded motor cables and no restriction to cable length. Measures usually required when using frequency inverters are not necessary.
Properties & special features:
The integrated, all-pole sine filter makes the Fcontrol unique among frequency inverters. Comparable to the power supply, the Fcontrol controls motors and fans without increased demands on the winding insulation and the motor bearings. Operation is extremely smooth and energy efficient, without electro-magnetic running noises.

Output range:
- 1~ Fcontrol, 4 to 10 amps
- 3~ Fcontrol, 2.5 to 50 amps
Scope of functions:
- Fcontrol Basic, can be upgraded to a speed controller, e.g. using an add-on module.
- Optionally available as a speed controller with integrated 5-stage switch for rotational speed specification
- Universal device with easy-to-select preset operating modes.
- Additional inputs and outputs are integrated.
- Special industry-specific versions, e.g. for agricultural applications (1~ Fcontrol as ventilation computer)
Icontrol/PMIcontrol
Product specification:
Standard frequency inverter, primarily for the individual control of motors. Operation with shielded motor cables.
Properties & special features:
Ideally suited for combination with ZIEHL-ABEGG fans for process air, building climate control and MAXvent medium pressure axial fans. Can be configured to the assigned fan, allowing for rapid, plug and play commissioning.

Output range:
- 3~ Icontrol, 2.6 (1.1 kW) to 60 amps (30 kW)
Scope of functions:
- Icontrol Basic, can be upgraded to a speed controller, e.g. using an add-on module.
- Optionally available as a speed controller with integrated 5-stage switch for rotational speed specification
- PMIcontrol Basic-M, direct installation on standard IEC motors or PM motors, can be upgraded to a speed controller, e.g. using an add-on module
